Calvary Chapel Highland

 

Pastor Joe Kurry is the Senior Pastor here at Calvary Chapel Highland.  Joe, his wife Cindy, and two children Katie and Sean have lived in Highland for many years. 

 

A number of years ago while teaching a bible study at a local church, Joe realized he knew about Jesus, but really didn't know Him personally.  After seeking to fill that void in his life, Joe accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior.

 

As Joe began to earnestly search the scripture he felt God calling him to teach a bible study.  He started the study in his home with a few friends and fami ly.  As the bible study grew, God by His grace grew the study into what is today; Calvary Chapel Highland. 

 

Pastor Joe teaches the word of God book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse in a style that is not only down to earth but brings God's message alive in a way that makes it practical to our everyday life.
