Calvary Chapel Highland has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.  We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only to their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.

Calvary Chapel Highland is not just a building, not just a person, nor a religious institution.  It is an ever growing body of Christian believers, being raised up by God through which He is able to work and to be glorified.  This body of believers call the building located at 64 Vineyard Avenue, Highland, New York, their church home.

However, this building is merely a "headquarters", a meeting place for the real ministry that God is doing here.  The work that God uses His people for stretches from Highland, the Hudson Valley, and to the ends of the earth through the many ministries that reach out to the lost, hungry, hurting and homeless among our fellow man.

First and foremost, Calvary Chapel Highland is an outstretched hand, offered to reflect the love that Christ has shown to us.

Jesus said:

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen (Matthew 28:19)
